Back from Florida

Luke hadn't seen his mirror in a few days since we were gone, so he was pretty excited. He's pulling up on everything now, but this was the first time I had seen him climb onto something! I've really got to watch him now!!Here he is pulling himself up on his mirror for the first time!He loves when Daddy gets home, that means time to play!!

Luke got his first tooth!! After a week of waking up all through the night, fever and much fussiness, I felt a tooth poking through yesterday. I thought his behavior was all because of his shots last week, but I guess it was a combination of both. Poor guy!
Everything goes into his mouth!

We had fun at Grammy and Grandaddy's house last weekend. He was really into Holly, he kept wanting to scoot over to her and poke his fingers through the holes of her crate.

but he's usually asleep by the time we make it home.

He's really exploring everything now. He was pretty fasinated by the spring doorstop.
He's also very curious about the tile floor. At first he just wanted to slap it.. but now he's scooting around. Who knows what he'll find next week.

Fun with Grandaddy
He's really starting to get around now. It's fun to watch him scoot around our living room... I'm sure it's a lot less frustrating for him to finally reach everything he's been staring at for months :)

He hasn't crawled just yet, but he gets up on all fours and rocks.. so it won't be long!

This was our first visit to storytime at the library. My friend Ashley and her son Kyler go every week, and now that Luke is 6 months, we can start going! He had a blast! Each time we sang a song, he would just bounce and bounce and smile at the other kids.
We also went to the park for the first time this week with Ashley and Kyler. We had a picnic lunch, and Luke was just content with watching Kyler run around and play. Then he got to play on a few things too!!
He liked this little turtle, but of course he just kept trying to put his mouth all over it.
He had fun on the swing... he liked the wind blowing in his face!

Luke's new froggy pool!

Luke had fun in his new pool! At first he wasn't sure about it, but then he went down on his belly and splashed around. He thinks it's funny when he splashes his face. :)

He rolled over!

He can roll all the way over now! Over the weekend he kept rolling over, but couldn't get one of his arms out from under him. He figured it out this morning!
He loves his jumper so much. It didn't take him long to figure out the bouncing part. Now he bounces like crazy and wears himself out.

New Toys!

He's finally grown out of being swaddled at night, and he loves to be all sprawled out without a blanket. Now we can finally put him in some cute pajamas so he doesn't get cold. :)

He also has a new mirror, which I think he likes even more than the jumper. He was really into all of the lights..... until his feet distracted him. :)
