He didn't quite get the concept of following the eggs.. but he liked picking some of them up and throwing them and trying to eat them. :)

Happy Easter!
Here's Luke's model pose in his Easter outfit. He looked so cute!
The Easter bunny came and left a trail of eggs leading to his baskets. One was from Grammy and Grandaddy and the other was from the Easter bunny. :)

Grandaddy and Luke
Grammy and Grandaddy came to visit over the weekend.. and Luke got so excited when Grandaddy was showing him how to hold a golf club. Future golfer??
Just had to show this picture. :)
Luke's first Astros game!
Well, it took a year, but Luke finally made it to his first baseball game, and it will probably be another year before he makes it to another! It was fun.. but hard to really enjoy the game with a one year old.. he is just all boy and into everything. I love it though! Wouldn't want it any other way. :)
We had to really watch him around these steps.. and he didn't want to be held.. he wanted down to explore!

Mexico trip
Here are a few pictures from our family trip to Mexico. It was beautiful and we had a great time spending the week with the whole Grein family.
This was my first time to not stay at a resort in Mexico. We stayed at a house.. which was great.. we had the whole place to ourselves.
This was our view of the ocean.
Here are a few pictures of fun in the pool. Luke loved it!! The water was a bit chilly in the mornings.. but he didn't mind a bit.
Another view of the pool and cabana area.

I had to hold Luke up most of the time, because he kept wanting to drink the pool water.

He loved jumping off the side! (With me holding him of course)
Look at that hair! We decided not to cut it until we got home.. which was a good idea, cause it acted as a hat for him. :)

He didn't really want to be in this float much. He liked being held much better. We'd just swim around with him and tell him to kick his feet... and it was so cute, he kicked like a little frog.
We made it down to the beach one day.. and Jared, Luke and I didn't stay as long as the rest of the family. Luke wanted to run around of course, but kept falling and getting sand and saltwater in his face. Plus he wouldn't keep his hat on, so I worried about him getting too much sun. Man, taking a one year old to the beach just isn't really that much fun. :)

Nice family time on the patio. Mornings were really nice out there. There were always lots of pretty birds flying around.

First Haircut!
Luke finally experienced his first haircut... and he needed it! He wasn't very happy about it all, but the end result was soo much better.
Here he is afterwards on Pepaws motorcycle. He's happy now... but you can see how unhappy he was during the haircut...
Here he is with Orlando, which is the same person who gave Jared his first haircut... had to keep the tradition. :) He's happy now that it's over...

Pics
I know.. I've been a bad blogger.. I haven't updated the blog in a while.. so here are a few things that we've been up to. :)
Luke never sits and watches tv, but he was a little sleepy.. and the Wonder Pets were on, so I set him down on his beanbag and put his blanket on him.. and he stayed there for a good 2 minutes. I thought he looked so cute, so I got a quick photo right before he rolled off to play. :)
Here is Luke's first meeting with Jax, our new puppy... which we had for all of 4 days, and then decided it was way too much to handle right now. Luke loved him... but I think we'll wait until he gets a little bit older.

Kyler's playset
A few weeks ago, we had a playdate at Ashley's house to break in Kyler's new playset. After a while, Luke started exploring it, but at first he was more interested in the fence and the grass. That's him crawling in the grass under the swings. :)
I don't know what it was, but he found the fence pretty interesting for a bit. :)
Then he realized the playset was just a little bit more fun. He was wanting to climb up this ladder.. but mean Mommy wouldn't let him.
Here are some of Luke's buds. Kyler is in the hat, and Madden is in the red. Madden and Luke are a month apart, so it's fun to watch them together.
